Depends on what track you want to run at. Like at Humboldt, they say .420" max w/1.5 rockers. If your cam would measure out to that or less then it should be legal. Then the next trick one is going to have to deal with is vacuum. . . 18" even with a stock cam is tough if you don't have any tuning skills. Good luck.
