I thought that in close instances like this particular race, the transponders were supposed to be the dividing factor. What the computer says should be right, as long as the unit is installed correctly in the car. I've watched the video over and over and it looks too, close to call. I would have given them both 5th, rather than send someone off the infield after you've already said they were in the top 5....but I'm sure some folks would just say I'm just a little bit partial.
