I was: Waiting on the plumber as the kitchen sink poured into the basement, repairing the broken front door deadbolt, NOT making it to my boys's basketball tournament and getting yelled at by Stacy as she drove by at 10:45pm or so.
I was going to go and then I ws not going to go and then I got blackmailed on 6/28 at the Bean Dinner into going
(insert another crack on Stacy here)and then I didn't get my money in on time. As it ended up, I wouldhave wasted the money becuause of the plumbing and house issues.
I can't say that I am thrilled about combining with the other classes, but as you said (Joe) it's a show up or shut up proposition.
I know after the 20th at Dave And Busters, there were some people that thought we should have done something bigger and there were those that thought the quarter century mark should be observed by somethng fairly elaborate. I suppose to some degree, I was one of those that thought 25 years deserved at least a DJ playing the music of 1983 or maybe a band, a dancefloor for high school sweethearts to have one more memory under the mirrored ball...something.
Maybe it's just that people don't care about memories anymore. It's a sad thought but look at this free message board linked to a free website and look at the minimal participation.
