I fully understand. I to had an issue with the late release of the date. I had hoped that it would have been released shortly after thanksgiving last year. I, and others I spoke with have to put in for vacation in January. I did ask why it was so late to be announced. Amy told me that they have little to no help in contacting people, and they have a limited current contact list. They also have limited involvement from us as far as helping with arrangements. She also said that our class account that they maintain is dwindling quickly. They have very limited funds to work with for deposits for events to facilities, caterers, ETC. They did want a more successful party for all to enjoy, but I do agree that the commitee can not risk putting out funds from their own pockets in hopes that they can recoup those expenditures they incure. After learning of these things I hope we all can help out to make the next one more successful. I hope to see you as well for the next one.
