Friends of Scottie Hammond are hosting a benefit on Sunday 11/16/08 at Harley-Davidson of Baton Rouge from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Scottie is a 38 year old Baton Rouge Police Dept. motorman with a wife and two children - who has been fighting cancer since February of 2007. Morning features a "BlackJack Run" from Harley-Davidson of Baton Rouge to Hammond Harley-Davidson and back. $10 per hand, 3rd card for $5. Hit "BlackJack" with two cards and win $20. Hit "21" with 3 cards, win $10. If you're from the Hammond area, you can register and start at the Hammond HD. Afternoon features plate lunches by the Jambalaya Festival winner, live music by "Ambiance," a live auction for a MC Lo-Jack and other items, lots and lots of door prizes, and CAWS will be doing their pet photos with Santa upstairs. Raffle tickets being sold for Dec. 5 drawing for (1st prize) ATK 450 High-Performance ATV and (2nd prize) Remington 870 shotgun.
