All I do is follow the directions on a Bisquik box. They look just like homemade and no one has ever told me that they can tell the difference. I use to use thos pop open cans, the one's that pull apart in layers, but everybody knows where those came from. Try bisquik I think you'll like it better. Anythings better that a rock anyway
