I agree. IMO and i have lots of them. There are way to many people out there breeding for a shorter muzzle almost EB like that are wider and shorter. IE::: OEB. I have see people knowingly and willinglly breeding 2 dogs with blue eyes either one eye or both adn trying to produce the blue eyes "cause it looks cool" or the new rage of the liver pigments. Yes there are some dogs that have it that i like but for the most part not. I have a strong dislike for the blue eyes or eye, liver pigment, and well no pigment. I have heard it alot on the other boards where people will say im breeding for what i want and to hell (sorry) with what everyone else is doing or what the standard calls for. An American Bulldog male who is 21in talls has a 1/2 in muzzle with visiable teeth cant run or anything in the heat or not and weights 110-120 lbs is NO American Bulldog in my book. Its an over grown out of shape non-breathing bulldog that wont live past like you said 2. Baby is 4 this year and will still run every other day with my hubby for 2miles in the morning. They run the fence line with the neighbors dog all day they swim flirt pole weight pull and she can still breath with out falling over with heat stroke. Well not now that she is preg. she is a total house dog and with the heat in the south this last month the dogs are inside but they can with stand the heat just fine. I wont even breed a dog that cant breath and has no pigment or liver pigment. But like i said this is all my opinon. Sorry for the rant.
