Kelly, is this a health question or a canine question? In the old days, women would use a potato to keep their prolapsed uteri where it belonged(that's all I'm gonna say about that, you'll have to use your imagination) With dogs, I believe there is a surgical procedure to tack the uterus back in place, & I know of an instance where that female conceived afterward. As far as uterine prolapse as a hereditary trait that may be passed down, one of our resident genetic experts will have to broach that topic. Hey, thank God we don't live in the good ol' days anymore LOL!
