On a Positive Note
Saturdays Lowell Sun “Billerica parents helping with special needs of innovative program for special-needs children” left me with a true warm fuzzy feeling. Again Oconnor’s Hardware proved what an asset it is to our town by donating paint to brighten up this sincere and valid project for special needs children. Through the experience of being a business owner at one time I was urged to give a group of autistic adults a chance for game full employment. After I did, I found myself experiencing a most enjoyable season and realized how functional most autistic adults are. The only other question I have is with so many people making a very good living off the Billerica area, why more have not volunteered their time or some company labor to refurbish this projects needs?
