Jennifer Amy Meyers Wrote a piece, “Longo makes “deep cuts” to Billerica’s expense,” relates to rising costs and an increase of $400,000 for the Water and Sewer Department utilities. Some of these cuts may have to come in our town’s budget which relate to vital services such as Police, Fire, ect. and will add a new feature to breakdown the budget’s of school costs along with town government costs. The utility costs of the DPW, has increased to force Mr. Longo into this unpleasant position. The Power Plant proposal that will generate 1.5 Million Dollars in town revenue is not the answer. I urge you all to read the previous pieces on how the Power Plant will add an extreme burden on our infrastructure physically and financially, which may far, far, far exceed the revenue it will generate to already overburdened Departments previously mention.

Hey group,
The second article by Hillary Chabot entitled “Rep. Hargraves: Put a hold on 40B permitting process” again reminds us of the corruption of the shady developers stealing our taxpayer’s money and how Inspector General Sullivan is still investigating them. One of the developments is in Billerica and the audit should be released in the upcoming weeks.
If you do not think the articles are related as to the cause of the problems think again. So if everybody wishes to ignore many of the issues expressed from the Billerica Watchers Group, no matter which community you are from, then all I can say is I hope you have quite a bit of disposable income in your budget, because you will need it in the near future!
