BILLERICA -- The Sun is sponsoring the only open forum of the town election season next Monday night.
All six candidates for the Board of Selectmen -- incumbent Michael Rosa, and challengers Rome Capobianco, Robert Correnti, Patricia Flemming, David Gagliardi and Edward Hurd -- have been invited. The forum begins at 7 p.m. at the Billerica Senior Center.
The candidates are vying for two, three-year terms in the April 14 town election.
Tom Zuppa, assistant managing editor for local news, will moderate. The candidates will be asked a representative sampling of questions of Sun readers, If you are interested in posing a question or topic area, e-mail them to Zuppa at tzuppa@lowellsun.com. Subject line should read: "Billerica debate." To be considered, questions must be aimed at candidates, and the sender must give his or her name.
