Hey Jan
Thanks for putting the meeting in prospective because last night I
felt a little down because the format of Tuesday Night's Meeting did
not meet my expectations of presenting two sides of the issue. The
format only allowed for citizens to ask only one question on a topic
or issue which demanded multiple lines of reasoning to make any form
of impact on any certain concern. When many concerned citizens
attempt to do so they were shut off immediately! I guess I expected
way too much from just one public forum because I am a firm beliver
in the peoples right to be heard!!!
In the light of day I would like to say Thanks to all of our fellow
citizens and Town Officals along with Board Members and Candidates
who made the effort to attend. There was a strong showing. Also
their expert presentation has left some excellent material which can
now be shot full of holes. The question I have is when will the
people have a chance to speak in a way in which they can truely be
heard!!! Billerica and this area of the state is great place to have
lived, be brought up or bring up your children, and I can not help
but feel passionately about attempting to protect the area from the
greed and deceptive practices of the cowards who hide and manipulate
the law, which will destory it!
