Posted by Caroline on April 26, 2007, 10:57 am We are going to file to the EFSB as intervenor status and this should help to slow the process down. There is an option to file as Limited Participant, but you will have limited participation in the process and questioning and speaking chances. The Siting Board has state level powers, and the best way to slow the process down is filing as intervenor. There are permits at the local level they need to obtain, but state overrides local decisions and without our "petition" in place, local permits will most likely go through. An attorney will be available via phone for questions I may not be able to answer.

The next step involves "petitioning" the EFSB (Energy Facilities Siting Board). This petition has to be submitted by 5/1/2007 (not much time at all)
