Posted by Ed on June 14, 2007, 6:21 pm The Billerica Cable Advisory Committee has scheduled a Cable Ascertainment Hearing for Thursday, June 21, 2007, 7:30 pm, 365 Boston Road (Town Hall), Town Hall Auditorium to initiate the process of negotiating a new cable contract. This hearing will determine Billerica’s future cable related needs and services including Billerica Access Television. Without your assistance, the services may not exist. The Billerica Cable Advisory Committee can only negotiate for items brought forward at ascertainment hearings, therefore, as Executive Director of BATV, I’m asking you to attend this important hearing and testify in support of BATV. It’s really as simple as stepping up to a microphone and saying “I request funding and technical support for BATV and access television in Billerica”. It really is that simple! If you are unable to attend this important hearing, you may send correspondence stating the same to: Billerica Cable Advisory Committee C/O Selectmen’s Office Billerica Town Hall 365 Boston Road Billerica, MA 01821 Without your assistance, Billerica’s cable services including funding and support for BATV may be insufficient.
