Yep, I read there was a huge market for nutria skins many years ago, I guess cotton just got too popular for exporting skins of any kind.
I would try that meat if someone fixes it up. lol
I always wanted to take my little pit bulls (when I had them) and go take care of some nutria for duck hunters...never got around to it. If they're edible, I'd hunt em.
