Got out today again for some more Nutria action......Paul Broussard and I met up with Southern Sport and Case in New Orleans early this morning to try and beat the heat BUT it didn't happen........LOL........It was a brutal hot day digging the mutts out........We ended the day with 3 smaller ones and 2 Big uns.........We also bolted 2 that got away from us.........Thats ok we'll get em next time.........We had 1 experienced dog and several younger dogs that never smelled nutria in their life........Most of the holes had a good bit of water in them so it made it rough on the dogs but they managed.........We had a good time today and it was nice to meet and hunt with Case also........Hopefully he can make it down in the future for some more action with his young dogs.........We stopped hunting about 12:15 and I think we all had enough, including the dogs.......Look forward to going again.........It was a good day out........
