Hi tony,
I was born with an undescended testicle. At the age of 7 (fall of second grade) I had an operation to bring it down but it had atrophied so much that it was dead actually.
By the time I was 9 it had been 'absorbed' by my body. (I'm 44 now)
Never a problem with function.
I knew a guy back in 86 who had both of them undescended.
He had his operation at the age of 13 and he said both turned out fine (I hate that guy! haha)
Don't worry about it much. But do consider that you might have a problem with fertility. Plenty if guys with one have no problem but it is a factor.
