The Legend

A land wrought by violence; ripped apart by the sheer power of quarrelling twins. Daughters of virtual gods, the Queens of the realm struggle to build an army, build a civilisation, on each side of the Sanctuary. On one side, the Queen Morissa sits the Shadow Throne; her palace wreathed in darkness, her minions darker still. On the other side, the Queen Mounira sits the Light Throne; struggling to find a balance within herself, desperate not to let vengeance for her twin contaminate her soul.
Throughout the land, magic flows through the veins of the entire population; some in the form of classic magery, others in the form of unique gifts, like flight, or invisibility. By each man, woman, or childs side stands a creature - a creature that guards the soul; despite the violent nature of the land once known as Sanctuary. Among the population are those that wish the divide had never occurred; people who lost everything all because of sibling arguments gone horribly wrong. Rebels who lurk in Morissa's Kingdom of Nocturne and Mounira's Kingdom of Illumine: rebels who will stop at nothing to destroy the matriarchs, and return Sanctuary to what it once was.

Upon Arrival

Upon joining Severed Sanctuary, please post your description and such. Either Raptor or Stoomie will accept you and will also assign you a soul-keeper and power. There are also many large roles available for audition, as well as many, many, many important jobs and ranks to be filled by characters of your own creation � including Lord Commander!
