they first make mad with power
Love is a dangerous thing. Sure it’s pretty and nice to have, but like they say, ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’. There are different kinds of love. A true romantic love like the one found between Adonai and Ordian. There’s a lonely, blind love that Shadai felt for Rayne, the goddess who had a dark, twisted sense of love. Shadai was an easy target. He was blind to the many facets of love and he was lonely. A lonely man is often a stupid one and Rayne had no problem seducing the god. Rayne and Shadai had their affair and it almost seemed real for both of them until Rayne used that love to destroy the god of fire and take from him his power.
While the Western lands mourned, the North and South gathered and prepared themselves for what the Eastern herd might do with their crazy mistress. While the mortals prepared themselves, Rayne was hard at work, manifesting Shadai’s energy into four horses that brought horrible things to the four herds. To the North, Rayne sent the pale horse of death. The black horse of famine was sent to the South; the red horse of war went East and finally the West was hit with the white horse of conquest.
In an attempt to help their followers, Adonai gifted to Fallen, the leader of the North, the ability to help rejuvenate his herd and Ordian gave his Southern leader the ability to regrow things. The Eastern herd was still dedicated to Rayne so they got no power other than the red horse of war. This brings the problem of the Western herd. Half were against Rayne, the other half adored her; nonetheless, Adonai gifted to them the ability to use Shadai’s fire against the white horse.
The end seems inevitable in the lands of Prophecy. War, famine, death… How can anyone survive this mess? It’s time to see who the best is and who will come out on top. Whose side are you on? Better decide quickly. Time is running out.
