The Revolution began in Lexington and Concord and it spread like wildfire. In January of 1776 Common Sense was published in Philadelphia, now the revolution not only has an enemy, but a cause. Yet some see things differently. New York has always had many loyalists, those who still support King George III and continue to remain loyal subjects to the crown. These men and women anxiously await British liberation from the pro-patriot mob and forces that currently control the city. War looms on the horizon as British ships begin to gather in New York harbor. George Washington has already moved the fledgling Continental Army south from Boston. What happens next will make history-- why not be part of it?
