Just FYI, the old Eclypse had no concept of powers, classes or anything - it was more modeled after 13th Element than the Fifth Element (they were 'born' at roughly the same time, their respective version 1s.).
The new!Eclypse, however, will include some things from 5E - such as abilities and classes and titles. It won't be elemental for obvious reasons, but you *will* be able to keep some things - for instance, I'm thinking characters who had familiars, should as Hypatia and Formaldehyde, would be able to keep them.
Since new!Eclypse's whole purpose in existing is so that we aren't all homeless and floating on a limbo of notroleplayingness, I talked with Nat about letting ponies keep the same abilities they had in 5E in Eclypse - at least, for awhile... since the further you go from the Stone, the weaker they become. *mwah* The idea is, they'd have the abilities, but they would slowly begin to mutate into something else as they acclimated to Eclypse.
