I received this sad news today and am sharing his widow's email to me and all of our alumni....
I have asked her to join us here and post a message - and if anyone knew him - please send her a note - her email is at the end.
Thank you so much for including Ira Davidoff on the reunion night invitation list. Unfortunately, Ira passed away in January 2006. It was a sudden and unexpected death; he had been seemingly healthy, vibrant and very active. I am his widow, Shelley Horwitz. I'm attaching a copy of the obituary that appeared at the time. I would welcome contact from any of his classmates who would like more information and/or have anecdotes to share with us. Ira was dad to Eliot, who is now 24, and is the son of a previous marriage. Eliot is living in NYC working as a business consultant. Ira and I had twins, Max and Isabel, who are now 6. This would have been an event I'm sure we would have attended. Good luck with all the planning and enjoy.
