it is very easy to henna on natural silk fabric.
mix jamila henna with lemon juice and sugar to normal consistency and let dye release.Ususally 24 hours.
cut fabric to size and finish edges.
tape down the edges to keep it taut on a piece of cardboard,
apply henna in design of your choice.
Let the henna air dry.
When dry turn on iron to hottest setting and remove fabric from cardboard carefully so henna does not get disturbed and cover both sides of fabric with paper towels.
Iron slowly on both sides then take outside and shake off henna.
THe henna is now permanent and you have a lovely piece of fabrid to use as pillow, quilt, clothes, or whatever you wish.
