We never use anything but lavander on pregnant women for safety issues. Henna is so safe there is no issue with it as you know. The amount of terp in the henna, and the small amount of henna applied is very minimal. So realistically there is such a tiny amount of oil.
I would have her make the decision, or you can always use unterped henna. Just make sure you wrap well and use lots of heat to boost the henna.
So sad, you poor thing to be allergic to lavander.
Let us know if you do the unterped henna and post some photos of the results.
