Hi Marsha,
We try very hard to keep our Esssential oil prices competitive and reasonable. Essential oils can be extremely expensive, especially from the health food store. Though price will tell you a bit about the quality it's not the only factor, and sometimes has no bearing on quality. You'll see the same quality oils sold for $10 more from one place to the next.
We buy directly from an American Essential Oil manufacturer, most of our oils are even organic! Since we buy HUGE quantities and package ourselves we can keep prices really reasonable.
When we decided to carry Essential Oils it was really important to us to be able to offer a variety of base oils AND the special scent oils to allow people the opportunity to experiment themselves and create there own custom blend.
I'm glad this has worked for you! I love the lavender we use, it's my first choice and gives GREAT color.
