Welfear gives meager amount of money. Job seeking is strewn with obstacles. Sheltesr are inhuman condition. This attitude of "Not making it easy for poor" lends itself to abuse of poor. It gives respectability to meanness in public policy. It leads to a downward spiral of no concern for poor. Amos Ch4 states,"Don't Abuse the poor." Proverbs 30 says,"They have teeth like knifes that devour the poor off the face of the earth. This is why we need to keep in Safety net Welfare programs and good shelters. We must remove the terrible cruel time limits off Welfare and shelters. A Black African women and child when their time limit was up on Welfare found a good person to help them Thank goodness. This is terrible for she did might not have found a good person and she should have been able to compassionately stay on Welfare. I've heard no outrage when I put this on radio and the article in Mercury New Contra Costa Time in Nov 1993 where there are time limits for families on Welfare. The child gets same amount of money in California my GA worker told me, but the mother is put on Welfare and gets GA amount of money which is stinkin terrible. A mother needs to keep in good psychological shape to properly take care of her children. This story from Maria Shriver,Reporter for Dateline on TV around 3 years ago I believe. Mr. Liebow's book confirms my lawsuit of May, 1997 of few,scarce foods,jobs resources in US and ignored by all Courts from Chief Justice Hug,Levy,Ninth Circuit,Sfc 1997 ,District Judge Marilyn Patel 1997,Chief Justice Mary E. Schroeder,Ninth Circuit,Sfc 2002, Wash DC Supreme Court 1997, and Chief Justice of Ninth Cirucuit in 2002 Mary Schroeder left out job dishonestly and corruptly job expenses I mentioned, Archbishop William Levada of Sfc, now at Vatican. Mr. Liebow wonders how with such terrible endless conditions more homeless don't commit suicide. Mr. Liebow says,"To put people on street is to bring them maybe to point of no return and society is heading towards a steep decline. The people have no conscience and shame on America for all these homeless people on street because it does not have to be. For our sake and theirs we should help them. Mr. Liebow so eloquently states,"There are those who run fast, they get their rewards. There are those who run fast most of the time, they get their rewards, but there are those who cannot run fast at all and it make no sense to say If I can do it so can they for not everyone is above average intelligence nor a heroe.
