A distastefully self-centered man is a hermit within himself and does little good in the world. He does not interest himself in the suffering of the poor, the struggling and handicapped. He does not pay for what he gets. By this I mean its not that he doesn't pay his bills for that would be against the law, but that he receives much comforts in life because of others' efforts and does not give back anything.
