Posted by Marty Schimel One of the most disturbing piece of news this week was that Halliburton is seeking to incorporate in Dubai. This essentially brings them out of the juristiction of US courts and will make oversight of their contracts with the government nearly impossible. May I suggest a bill that would prevent any foreign owned company from getting a no bid contract in the future. Halliburton would still be able to get contracts, but would have to bid for them and meet the terms of the contract. I look at this as better security for the country than any part of the Patriot Act. Marty Schimel
