Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. (Psa. 4:1)
We are capable of great things in times of distress. The Lord gives us the ability to serve one another, even so much as to save another life. It is important that we continually pray for the Lord to guide our actions (through studying His Word) and show us ways to serve. When we open ourselves to the will of the Lord, we will be surprised at the wonderful things we can do.
One may say, “I don’t know how to pray.” We don’t have to know how. (Rom. 8:26-27) But the Lord wants us to learn. (Lk. 11:1) Then He wants us to continually pray. (1 Thess. 5:17)
Our challenge, dear Lobos, is be anxious in nothing; but to share it with the Lord. (Philippians 4:6-7) It may surprise us if we make that phone call to our Father. I think it is still a toll free call.
Y’all read ‘em, now, ye hear?!
