Please pass this on to all.
Dear Bill and Gail,
I am sending the attached acknowledgement from Martha Olis family along with the note below. Would you please forward it on to the correspondent for your classmates in order that I can share my respect for all of you. It was nice to see you a few days ago in Walmart. Take care of your precious selves.
Hello dear people,
I am Martha Mary Olis' only sister. Some of you may remember me as her kid sister, Jacquelyn. I remember most of you from the years you were in school together. I always looked up to her --she was my big sister, and as a child I never felt that I could measure up to her and to her classmates. All of you seemed to be so pretty and handsome, so talented, and so smart. All of you, in many ways were "role models" to me. I want you all to know what an impact you had on my life, through the eyes of a child (younger sister), the perception of you gave me dreams and goals to reach for. Life takes so many turns for us, and through it all, we evolve, and somehow survive. I want you to know that I cannot think of any better way for you to remember her and express this to those left behind than to have a brick inlaid in her memory at the Lobo memorial in Levelland. I thank you from the bottom of my heart not only from me, but from her husband and their sons, and my mother. You are great people and I sm so grateful that you have touched a part of my life too.
Even though she was not able to be out and about for the past few years we talked on the phone almost every day, and I really miss her.
Life is fragile and so short. Live it to the fullest knowing that you are all really special to me as well as those you hold dear.
Thank you so much again.
With genuine love and respect,
Jacqi Tomison (Jacquelyn Tomison)
