“I am the bread of life; he who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst.” (Jno. 6.35; 6.48) Read all of chapter 6.
After the feeding of the multitudes, it is no little wonder that the same people came to Jesus again. When they came, Jesus knew their hearts and why they had returned. (Jno. 6.26) Jesus then exhorted them not to seek only something to eat; but rather to desire “food that endures to eternal life”. (Jno. 6.27)
So, Lobos, when we sit down for a sumptuous meal, let us not forget to add a few pieces of the “bread of life”. It makes for a healthy diet. The carbohydrates in it will give us lots of strength. While we are at it, we can take a little drink of ”living water”. (Jno. 4.10) It will make us “strong in the Lord and in the power of His might…” (Eph. 6.10)
Y’all read ‘em, now, ye hear?!
