Posted by MagicalMehendi Later as I sat outside doing the auntie's mehendi, they all sat at the table speaking Punjabi and laughing for like ... an hour? And I get to go back and do more on Friday! SarahP lives pretty close to the family so I was so grateful she could come and do some hands. I'm even more grateful she's willing to go back on friday and do the rest of them. Now......when I did Wendy Rovinghorses' mehendi...I forgot my camera. I used my mom's camera and now have to wait until next week to get the images.

when I left my house last night, I was wary of the nights gig. The family had changed the time on me (three times), I hadn't sent her the sketches after the consult (as I said I would) and frankly I was just plain tired after doing Rovinghorse's bridal mehendi the night before.
But it all turned out well. The family was the lauging-est, giggliest, dancing-est bunch I've come across. The laughing and dancing aunties pretty much muscled the bride and I into a far corner while they danced in the living room. That was by far the most unusual behaviour towards the brides mehendi. They were just gonna have a good time and nothing was gonna get in the way.
They all chose the same design too...which I did 12 times!
Last night I remembered my camera, but forgot to use it! eek.
