Now Justine allready knows that I'm competely stuck up about my henna do's and dont's and I've even relaxed a lot on the 'no way am I gonna do that' this year. I've actually started writing things! It does depend on the person, the name, the vibe or how funny it may be.
In general, i refuse Any and All raceist images or words. I won't do anything on weiners or balls, though the guys seem to ask at each festival, no drug references - especially on the high schoolers and grad nights. Duh. No, no pot leaves on your forearm. It's just bad for business promotion. Nothing on the necks, it melts off and smears and they want eternal touch ups as it cracks. I desperately try to talk out of lower backs cause it's harder on our arms and shoulders. NO nautical stars - much to much of a pain in the butt.
I have a long list of no it seems, but anything that makes me feel bummed out about what I'm trying to do i tend to turn down or talk out of. i hate feeling like a hooker at the end of the day. i really want to enjoy what I'm doing (or at least that's the goal, rarely achieved at large events though.)
