They might start running the 57 on Monday. If so, maybe you can tke the 173 to the 57 and walk 2 blocks to the 462 (flag down the driver) to the Santa Ana train station. Then take Metrolink to Irvine. The 482 (or 480) StationLink will take you to Alton and Technology.
