Some of you will remember Butch and his family in Forest. He was a part of the Class of ‘62 until the family moved away around 1957. This was posted on FaceBook:
From Butch’s Loving Family: On 25 April 2022, Butch Tramel, the bigger-than-life man that we all know and all love so dearly, suffered a massive stroke. As these occurrences can change in an instant, we delayed a general announcement. However, we recognize and appreciate how much he means to so many and we wanted to let you know that he is facing a challenging recovery. We do not have a complete timeline yet, but he will begin rehabilitation as soon as possible. At the present, we humbly ask for your prayers and words of encouragement as he begins his journey. We apologize in advance that we may not be able to answer all inquiries, but we will post updates as we are able. Please feel free post any thoughts and prayers to his wall. Thank you for your love and support.
Prayers and healing for Butch and his family. One of my playmates from the midfifties as Butch and his brother Doug lived next door to my Grandparents and Jim Ashmore on East First Street. Other neighborhood boys were Joe Rex Dennis, Tommy Joe and Harry Culpeper,Malcolm Massey and his brothers. We were always in trouble Mrs Quinn a neighbor lady who did not appreciate us.
