As Doug mentioned, there is a price guide "in the works" by someone, and it would be a good thing as there has not been a recent glass reference book with prices in quite awhile, certainly not one that would reflect the effect of ebay on prices - in many cases the prices are lower, and in some cases for scarce glasses or really popular glasses the prices are higher. I don't follow ebay much, but from my perspective the "common" glasses that are shown in the guides at prices at $5 or less, are STILL common glasses and still don't sell for much, and are easy to find. After that, as Doug mentions, the ebay auctions and PGCA auctions are good sources for pricing. Also, there has been a few glass reference books on specific topics, like McDonald glasses by Mike Kelly in 2005, that are more up to date. Also don't forget the Equillector site, which has Horse Racing glasses and prices.
Here is the link for the collector that is planning an updated glasses reference/price guide - the last note I saw at that site said the book is delayed for 4-6 months due to the need to add more photos, but I do not know when that note was posted.
I think the old Tomart and Chase/Kelly guides still work pretty well, as long as you don't take the higher prices as gospel, and realize how the auctions on ebay have increased supply, and therefore in many cases lowered prices. The old guides still show the difference between a hard to find, tough, scarce, etc type glass and the more available ones, which certainly helps.
One thing for sure, the PGCA does not publish or suggest pricing info, rather information of the glasses and sets, which is really helpful to collectors. This reference info is on the club database, available through this site.
