Thanks for the prompt reply Brent! You'd think that know one would go to the trouble to copy such, but sadly there are a lot of FAKE Chicken in the Rough items being sold on ebay. For the most part these fake items have been restaurant ware dishes and the fakesters seem to target highly collectible chains, such as the Chicken in the Rough and other highly collectible (thus expensive) black-americana items like the Coon Chicken Inn.
Promo glass collectors don't seem to need to be as wary of such fakes (at least for now), but there are some crossover categories, such as water glasses that may have fakes. That said, can you tell us any info about the bottom mark? Thanks as always Brent for your help!!
