There is not any local events happening around the time I am planing this meeting the only event here was the Stewerts flea market at the fair grounds. The last Stewerts flea market was not properly advertised which made many people mad so I am not sure if there will ever be another Stewerts flea market here in Indy. Sorry if that make anyone feel they cannot attend. My last meeting had an attendence of 15 people and I consider for a first meeting here without an event it was a successful meeting. I have the meeting at a local hotel that is in my opinion better than any of the hotels we are using else where. The amenities are ample the rooms are nice and they have a large meeting room. They have a breakfast nook that was enough to seat all the people for our saturday night dinner. Which was home cooked by me, we had fried onions and potatoes, barbecued chicken, green beans followed by pineapple upsidedown cake, I again plan to cook a home made meal. There is an indoor pool, a jacuzzi and an exercise room. Our club is down from about 400 members to about 150 members, with these meetings I am trying to help our club grow so please contact me if you want to attend. Thanks again Larre
