Coke Final Four Boston WOMENS NCAA Basketball 2006
(fountain glass)
Du Quoin State Fair Hambletonian 50th Anniversary 1972 (small Libbey glass - same shape as common 1971-73 Indianapolis 500 glasses)
Kentucky Derby Festival 2010 - has a very nice brown color picture of racing horses - I am surprised I had not seen this one before.
other glasses I have found include a couple etched TopHat from the Boomerang Network, a Las Vegas Pepsi Hard Rock cafe, a neat somewhat fountain shape small glass from Maker's Mark (will have to save for a friend who collects those)
and an interesting ceramic cup, small size with Kellogg's Sugar Smacks and Dig Em character, it says "Vintage Kellogg's" on the bottom, made in Columbia 2008. I assume the "vintage" applies to the images on the cup ???
Another fun, cheap glass is Bicentennial Wagon Train - similar in style to the Coke stain glass style. from 1976.
Finally, a couple glasses I have not yet checked on the data base, these were more expensive, in Antique Mall on Saturday
- Texas 1836 - 1936 Centennial with red trim and Bull image on front.
This is a Depression Glass style tumbler.
and
- Big Ten Conference with football player kicking (#10) in red and list of Big Ten Schools on back.
small white footballs around bottom of glass. THis is from a series of Big 10 football glasses and very similar glasses with small baseball mitts are found from that era (? 50's or 60's ? ) from several teams and also National League and American League. Most likely a Hazel Atlas glass blank although not marked. I have seen the Indiana and a few other schools a few times but have not had the Big Ten with all schools listed before.
I will try to put a few pictures in CGN this upcoming issue. Thanks.
