Re: Interesting early Disney Dairy glass - asked for info
No need to be snide. I asked for a reference because I would like some proof. Nothing would make me happier. And I've collected glasses for over 30 years myself. I'm just very skeptical after seeing this design on so many fake milk bottles. It wouldn't be the first "fantasy" glass created by someone. I'd love to know where they came from, if they were dairy glasses, etc. Unlike the 1930's Looney Tunes glasses, it seems unusual to not find advertising material to go along with Disney glasses. Like I said, it would be great to have some evidence of where it came from. (I'm not sure how you can "tell" it's not fake--it wouldn't be the first time someone has found glass blanks from the 1930's and put designs on them. It still happens all the time with Fire King mugs, as well).
