As long as they are joint accounts, you really don't have to do anything, since you would have access.. unless you wanted to start to establish credit in your own name only. Having the bills come in email is convenient when traveling or don't have a permanent address but I still like to have the old fashioned paper statements come in for my records and as a reminder in case I might have missed something and to go back to. Also...if they are coming into his email account only, you'd have to keep going into it routinely and/or have the contact changed to yours. If you changed carriers, every one on your payee list would have to be contacted or you might miss the statement notice.
