Bea cracked her shoulder bone 4 weeks ago & it is just about healed, almost.
I chose Sunday because I think it's when the super market is least shopped.
I've always shopped there for certain things on occasion & on any day needed.Sunday afternoon I saw was a very slow day.
I've always been a people watcher. On the subways,in department stores & on the streets of the City.
I've noticed, over the 4 weeks, more than an average number of Sunday super market shoppers.....are MEN.
Mostly older men - pushing carts with heads turning & faceing up & down reading signs or twisting to the right & left scanning shelves as the trudge along pushing carts, big & small.
Much as I did that first week. A few I've begun to recognise,we even nod as we pass.
But too many I think, it must be a day,Sunday afternoon, when single men of the older crowd make the same choice of day I have.
But I wonder for what other reasons ?
