Saw this on FB.
"Nestle Pays Only $524 to Extract 27,000,000 Gallons of California Drinking Water" - then sold this water - OUR water - back to us... well YOU - I don't buy this shit - for....are you ready?.....here it comes.... $386,000,000!!!! That's right: they bought OUR water for $524 and then OUR water BACK to us for 386 MILLION DOLLARS!!!! [Of course, when you drink the water coming out of the taps in your home - water that is at least as good, and often BETTER, than the water in bottles - YOU TOO are paying pennies for many many gallons. Compare 'way less-than-a-penny per gallon that you pay at home to $3.00 per gallon: $3.00 per gallon (you are paying less than that for a gallon of gas for your car) is what you are paying for water-in-a-toxic-plastic-bottle. "Convenience!", you say??? - if you love toting that toxic plastic bottle around so much, refill it at home or at a water fountain.. then all you've got to worry about is the very-poisonous Bisphenol A and Dioxin that you are also gulping down. Then there's this: "In a recent study by German researchers, nearly 25,000 chemicals were found lurking in a single bottle of water. Many of these chemicals mimic the effects of potent pharmaceuticals inside your body."] ---------------- And what's with THIS shit: "Drought-shaming worked enough for Starbucks to stop bottling water in California, uprooting its operations to Pennsylvania. But Nestle simply shrugged off public outrage and INCREASED its draw in the San Bernardino National Forest — with an absurdly expired permit"(!!!!!) Nestle's sucks "its" Arrowhead 100% Mountain Spring Water Arrowhead Springs — which is located on public land in a national forest.
In 2013, the company drew 27 million gallons of water from 12 springs in Strawberry Canyon under a permit that expired in 1988" (!!!!!!!) Nestle guzzled all that water for $524!
-------------------- The Great Worldwide NeoCon Water Heist - I'm tellin' ya'....it's well underway, it's gonna get ugly - and soon... NeoCon Big Water's noose around what USED to be OUR water is just about cinched up tight.
