Over the weekend, my great nephew installed Netflix on my Smart TV. I only have this TV close to two years. I'm slowly experimenting on how to navigate Netflix. Perusing the offerings, I found I couldn't care less about most of them. Maybe I'll change my mind and get hooked on futuristic action and violence, but in the meanwhile I chose to watch "To Kill a Mockingbird." Later on, I tried to install Facebook on my SmartTV. Even with the help of Bert, I couldn't figure out what they wanted. I really thought I gave the correct info, checked it twice. I'll have to call Samsung.
I'm old-fashioned enough to believe in personal contact via telephone. I remember how I used to laugh at Bob when he would VISIT people about business rather than phone. He said there was something about looking a man in the eye and shaking his hand. Whenever I'd mock his old-fashioned ways he'd say to me "Wait. Just wait." Yes, my darlin, I hear you.
