Re: More Thanks to Obama

People are fed up with what they see happening during Obama's tenure with the same venom falling on him from the right as Bush got during his from the left. I know I was bombarded with the same kind of rhetoric back then that upset me. Perhaps any President, regardless of what his party line is, would face the same kind of negativity from the opposition. Obama may be getting more heat than he would have at another time because of his perceived Muslim connection at a time when it's our biggest threat. No one likes a government mandate to have to have insurance or pay a penalty..costing more and receiving less. Of course, there are some who have benefited and are understandably supportive. Today's issue is bringing in Syrian refugees against the public's wishes. Humanitarian ideals in the USA have always taken in those who needed it. However, there was never such a potentially dangerous threat from those who came before and the experience of other countries taking them in so damaging to inhabitants. The illegal Mexican situation, already a hot potato, pales in comparison. BTW...the attack on Paris was carried out by at least some earlier refugees. I learned last nite that it had even touched my family in an unanticipated way. My granddaughter's fiance's cousin was involved. Having dinner with friends, she was wounded, her husband and friends were killed.
