Women who wanted their fetuses but lost them are a totally different ballgame so this doesn't apply to them. That's completely different subject.
I had a miscarriage in a hosp and the fetus was disposed of by the hosp as are all deceased fetuses, wanted or not. No one came to me and told me I could have the deceased fetus to bury or cremate. We were told it would be cremated there at the hosp. Apparently they burned fetuses and body parts for health reasons as they are bio-hazards.
I never knew one woman who was handed her deceased fetus to bury or cremate - or required to pay an undertaker to pick up from the morgue and bury. Do you?
