Altitude sickness. Ever been hit by a truck? I think the two are quite similar. Bring an anti-emetic if you can get your hands on some. Many say that you need to drink plenty of water... don't know about that, but it can't hurt.
Remember too, you are much closer to the sun and the atmosphere is thinner. Never go out without applying sun screen liberally. If you don't - and I know this from personal experience - you will be completely cooked within 20 minutes.
Boulder Colorado: Watch for old hippies and young communists wandering around in a daze looking for some pot, heroin, or property they can redistribute to themselves.
Professional football players: Just stay away from any pimped out Escalades. They tend to get shot at.
Wildlife: Mountain lions have been known to attack young children, so if you bring your kids or grandkids and do any hiking, arm yourself accordingly.
