Here's a little item that may be of interest to those of you bringing your pooch along for the ride.
There is a parasite in many of the streams in the mountains that will put your dog in a bad way if he happens to stick his muzzle in for a drink.
I think there is a vaccine or something available to prevent the infestation in him, but i may be wrong.
