Last year we did not have any "organized" rides at Rockies-Gold, but several folks have indicated that they would like to be able to sign-up for a ride or two. This thread is to ask for volunteers who would like to be a ride leader at Rockies-Gold -- several of the "Colorado Rascals" have indicated that they would lead a ride or two while in Montrose, plus there are a number of other folks who know the routes and would make good ride leaders also.
The number of these rides will be limited and the preferred method of doing a ride is to meet folks informally during the evenings while hanging around the Red Arrow (or other lodging) and decide if you would like to do a particular ride with those folks. This is probably the best method as folks can talk about their riding skills and desires for the particular ride. Some folks are looking forward to getting the change to ride with some of their forum friends. Keep it simple and easy -- and SAFE!!!
