I WAS THERE!!!!!! It was awesome. Had the opportunity to stay with Jon Hansen and Bud Hammer. Two of the nicest people in drag racing. But "wait a minute" so was all the crew from the Hammer/Hansen team. They treated me as if I was one of their own. I also had the pleasure of hanging out with all of the west coast teams. Bob McKray, Don Enrequez,J.D.Zink,Mark McCormick,"The quick Kid Bob Lander" who has a beautiful new car. I got to help out Dean Carter and crew member Jim,they neede an extra hand so Jon Hansen Voluteered me which was preety cool, but we went out first round. There's SO much more to tell but I just got in from the airport and I'm tired.

A BIG congrats again to Bud Hammer/Jon Hansen and the rest of the crew on making 2009 Heritage CHAMPION, and to Bob Lander for winning the 2009 CHRR for the first time. Your going to be hearing a lot more of him, so watch out. Oh there was also 32 nostalgia funny cars for an eight car feild. WOW!
